Nord Anglia has successfully been operating high quality international schools since 1992. The company owns schools in Slovakia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland as well as four schools in China and one in South Korea. New schools are planned to open between 2008-2010 in China and the Middle East.
Nord Anglia’s international schools offer both i-GCSE and the International Baccalaureate (IB) systems, and deliver very high standards of both academic education and pastoral care. Students achieve well, and last year Nord Anglia’s schools were above global averages with a pass rate of 90% on average in IB. In 2008, Nord Anglia has signed new contracts with the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) for the third phase of the Public-Private Partnership reform initiative and with the Supreme Education Council in Qatar for reforms in Early Years and Continuing School Support. Early this year, Nord Anglia has secured the Mawhiba project with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to implement and deliver a special program for the Naturally Gifted and Talented youth of Saudi Arabia.
